I have to say I love the new windows media player 11 its great, but I do
have 1 problem, when I play a dvd the player just freezes and I have to
ctrl-alt-delete and close it that way.

Not sure when this started but I am unable to play mp3 files in WMP.  Get
error that no codec can be found.  When I click on web help it states
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio
or video portion of the file) because the MP3 - MPEG Layer ...

In short -
I have a WMA player on my website that plays streming music.
The WMA player shows the URL for the streaming station.
but not the actually song, and artist

Why can the media play not convert the video for the pocket pc?  I thought
that was the purpose of the syn option.  All I get is This device does not
support video.

Media Player always decides to start synching with my USB flash drive, and

Is there a way to organize and arrange my music files without first deleting

I have a Creative Zen Mirco, but on the new MP11 it doesnt sync or connect.
Why is that? Does the MP11 even support the mirco? If it doesn't when will it.

Auto Sync FREEZES and you can't remove the association unless you re-install
WMP 11...this really needs to be fixed. Once this is fixed this media player

I can't figure out why Microsoft didn't add something like what yahoo does
with launchcast into the player. It would be great if you could make your own
radio station. Pick 10 artist that you like and have the station play back
those artist and others that come close to them. Let ...

In Media Player 10 you could choose between 'sort by artist', 'sort by
genre', etc. But you could also view 'all music'.
In 11 this seems to be covered by 'songs' in Primary Views, but I'd like to
see this without the artist headers. This takes up way too much screen space,

display it. as in: i want to edit the year of my music to reflect the correct
information. on a box set or greatest hits i would like each song to be
labeled with the correct year of it's original ...

I have the source code of a custom software codec for video compression and
decompression. And I expect to package it into plugins so that general media
player, such as WMP, can identify my custom video format. And ICCompress()
can adapt to the codec as well.

Jow do you set up Windows encoder to screen capture both audio and video. I
just get video and there does not appear to allow any audio device settings.
Does it support this capability?
