ok i upgraded my media player to windows media player 10 and my media files
still have the old media player 9 icons anyone know what might have gone
wrong.

Ever since I installed WMP 11 beta 2, I cannot get any streaming video to
play. I tried reverting the system back, installing versions of WMP10 etc.
However, everytie I try and play the stream, this is what I get:

I have downloaded both WMP 10, and 11 Beta and both ALWAYS come up in the
'Clasic' mode. I CANNOT get either one to come up with the new tabs for
'Burn', 'Library', etc. The 'CTRL - M' function does NOTHING. Also, I do not
have the 'Skins' button.

Accidentally, I managed to stack part of my library exactly as I wanted
it... but can't figure out how to do it again!

Hi everytime I download something to play with WMP I get a werid album art on
the right side that says "French Sessions" with an orange cover art. It's
some sort of techno house album from what I gather. Is it my default image
and how did it get there.

When installing WMP 9, I forgot to uncheck the desktop + quick launch icon
boxes. How can I accomplish this now so that these icons will not appear when
I boot up mu computer running Win98SE. I am not of the computer generation so

to know;
1) Are there are any problems with using WMC in a domain environment?
2) Can a SQL app run on a WMC workstation and access a SQL DB across a domain?

Can anyone direct me to software alternatives to Windows Media Player that
can synch to devices that support wma formatting? I am interested in ripping
CDs lossless and synching in VBR, something Windows  Media Player apparently
doesn't support.
