I installed WMP11 on my XP Media Center 2005 box. After that, if I convert
an MP3 to WMA using Microsoft Plus Digital Media Edition, the new WMA file
won't play. This is using typical conversion settings (128 kbps, CBR). The
error is:

figure out how to set the second video's audio component to an alternate

Before the napster button appeared, I could search for music under the
'guide' button, and hit the 'music' button and get music files from all
over the 'net. Now when I search, the page jumps back to 'home' and
gives me millions of pages that look like everything on the 'net.

I recently installed WMP Rel 11.
When I add the path where my MP3 songs are stored and let WMP search for
Mp3's to be imported in the library, the result is 2643 songs imported.
When I do the same procedure with Real Player V 10.5 , I get a result for

I have back-up:ed about 40 of my DVD:s (VOB/IFO-files) and stored them on my
external drive along with other files such as mpeg:s, wmv:s, asf:s, avi:s and
so on.
When adding media to Library the DVD:s does not show.

For some reason an increasing amount of the songs in my library are starting
to play at a very fast rate. When I open the file in a different program,
it's still fine, but in WMP it plays all chipmunk-like. Is this a problem
with the player or the files?

Suddenly I am getting an error when playing webpages with wmv content.  
Offset: e991403d will display, then the page will shut down.  If I download
the file and play it straight from my hard drive using media player, then the

I have just purchased a Media Receiver only to find that all my WMA lossless
files aren't supported by the player! However WMA is, I downloaded Windows
Media Encoder but cannot find an option on there to convert to a file that is
recognised by my player...I tired to convert some ...

I have downloaded video files and when I open on WMP11 I get a message
telling I have not the neccessary Codecs. When I look at the Microsoft
information I am asked to tick the box that "Downloads codecs needed to play
or open a file or  folder  in WMP" I am instructed to go to ...

I don't have layout options in my Library tab.  
I don't know/can't find a navigation pane or address bar, where are they?

My computer still shuts off and restarts on its own but now only when I try
