Windows media player 11 sucks compared to 10
MSFT removed several features, like having the background colour as black,
the drop down menu, in both the mini player (which was very useful) and in
the library.

Hi, I recently downloaded an episode of Skins and I'm trying to watch it on
Windows Media Player, but I can hear what's happening but the screen is just
black. Can anyone help me please?

I have a password saved in windows media player.  Now while the username
shows up just fine, I can't view the password.
The problem is, without the password which I've forgotten, I can't get the
links to the videos to begin with and so I can't watch any videos.

We have two Windows Server 2003 Citrix servers running WMP10. I am trying to

After update KB931768 i have been getting a greenish screen in the embedded
WMP 11. I get sound but no video just a greenish screen with lines in it

I am trying to figure out how to force a HTML link to open with Windows Media
player 11. I have a video streaming application that requires media player 11
to play properly but the link to start the stream is just the IP address of
the video server.

I just downloaded and installed WMP 11 on my computer and ever since then
have not been able to burn a CD in Windows Media Player.  It ask me to put in
a blank CD, I oblige, and it ejects the tray and tells me that burning will
automatically start when a blank CD is inserted... ...

How do I go about making a copy of an original DVD?  

When I click the Library tab of WPM11 to "Share Media" I get the following

Why can't I play video files that I saved from the SD Card in my camera?

I recently had to restore both XP and Windows Media Player 11 - I can't
download or play songs because I have to upgrade the security components but
when I go to  the upgrade security components website the "upgrade" button is

Hi all - 2 computers, one XP and the other MCE 2005.
On XP, I can right-click and "Find album info" for my music files in WMP11
On MCE 2005, I have no option to say that.  I've tried changing the view,
but matching it with the XP computer, it has that option and mine does not.  

does any one know how to solve the problem so that i can burn my music and
movies evry thing was fine before i up graded form wmp 10

Has anyone come across a way to get Windows CE 5.0 to give out a low battery
alert (sound) rather than just the red indicator.
What I am really after is this to happen when TELNET is running,
