My hosting company uses Microsoft Windows Server 2008 in a shared environment
and does not want to install WMP.
However, I have a some software (Video Shot Maker) which extracts the first
frame of an .mpg, .avi or .wmv that I would like to use.

I am using ASF Writer to dump my file. I am passing compressed data
(video  WMV and audio WMA). I have created a custom profile to
configure ASF writer. every things work fine on xp. but on vista asf
writer is not able to dump file properly. WriteSample() is throwing

I have lost my DRM file for some reason while using Real Networks Phapsody
product. It keeps directing my to MicroSoft's "Security Component Upgrade"

I use EAC to rip my music, which can automatically call the wmcmd.vbs
command to encode the wav files to wma lossless. Now that I've
installed vista RTM, EAC can rip to wav, but the wma command stops
immediately with this error:

All my AVI files that I play with Windows Media Player are very dark. Is
there a way to make them lighter?
