I'm using Windows Media Player 11, with all updates.  Anytime I play a
music file, MP3, WAV, AU, etc, it plays for exactly 10 seconds, then
the playback pauses and Internet Explorer launches to this URL:

I really can't believe that i've spent half an hour trying to figure this

I'm trying to play a dvr-ms file, (tv show recorded on a mce 2005 system)
with wmp 11 on an xp system (sp3). I've got the cyberlink power-dvd decoder
pack installed but it opens and freezes on the first frame, no audio.
Any ideas what I'm missing or doing wrong?

I have my windows Media Player set as the default to play any mp3 or wma

I have WMP Version 11.0.6000.6344 operating on Vista. When I play any song
saved on my computer through Media Player, it skips with 15-20 seconds left
in the song. Doesn't matter what song, it does it every time. Once the song

Is there any way to change tempo (or speed ) of a song when burning it to a
CD?  I can change the speed when i am listening to it, but when I burn it and
listen to it, it's reverts back to the faster speed.  HELP!!

  I thought this was getting fixed in WMP 11. I was annoyed with WMP 10
playing  album track in Artist A-Z order by default. I was reassured that
this would not be the case in WMP 11, and that it would save the users last
sort setting on exit.
