I have these files that were extension .mov but i converted them to .wmv
I cannot get these to import into Windows movie maker, everytime it says:
'C:\Users\Mumba\Desktop\Camera Pics\Reunion '08\Video Clips\gedc0799.wmv
could not be imported.'

Seems a trivial question. But I don't seem to be able to do it.
I will explain my problem in a bit more detail.
Background:
I am working for a company that makes digital video recorders (for CCTV). A

I do not get any picture after installing WMP 11.  It seems to be playing the
DVD because the DVD player is flashing and the play mode seems to be in
motion. DVD playback worked fine before upgrading.  I have v1 00 67 in
NVidia.  Any suggestions?

When using Windows Media Player with headphones, I get no sound in the left
ear. I checked all my sound settings, and everything checked out OK. I can
hear all system sounds in both ears. I can also hear in both ears using other
audio players, like QuickTime or RealPlayer.

I have a number of albums--mostly with just three tracks--that I never added
to my library.  I tried to delete them using right click and delete but they
remain.  Any suggestions on how to get them out of the library?

I tried several radio stations to listen to live music. I am getting an
activex message: this website wants to run the following add-on message
Windows Media Player from Microsoft Corporation. I didn't have to run it
before. I know I have the latest version of WMP.

I have WMP 11 on a freshly rebuilt Windows XP Pro computer. Through
WMP I can play CD's, wav files, and MP3 files without a problem. But
when I go onto the web and try connecting to the streaming feed from a
radio station (king.org) it fails with the message:

I need to schedule a unicast publishing point to publish a video
stream every hour in WIndows Media Services v9 for Windows 2003. There
is no "gui" method to schedule this. Is there a script I can create or
run something as a scheduled task?

This may be a simple question, but I would like to install version 11 of
windows media. I already have version 9 pre installed, do I need to uninstall
version 9 before installing 11, or will do this for me?

Okay I got this computer from my dad. And it used to be his buisness computer
years ago. I  Love listening to music offline or even a CD on my computer.
But my Audio Device is missing and so is playback hardware and Midi output. I

Hi all,
For many years i have used itunes due to owning an ipod.  Now i have two PCs
though, a laptop and a desktop and i use my desktop for the ipod but i now
have vista on the laptop and like the look of WMP11...
which DVD decoder to download for XP WMP 1121 Jul 2008 23:15 GMT1
there are several decoders that are available to download, so I was wondering
if there might be a general consensus as to which works the best and causes
the least crashses etc.
