Just a reminder that names, titles, and other material on Usenet is required
to be 7-bit ASCII.  This means no 8-bit foreign characters, etc.  Many
newsreaders display garbage when trying to render 8-bit characters.  (8-bit is
not ASCII by the way.)

Okay, the computer looks clean.  The hosts file is empty except of course for
the localhost entry.  
I changed the DNS from ISP provider to OpenDNS in case Comcast's DNS was
polluted.  I cleaned the cache of IE but also installed Safari and Firefox.

its coming update kit was failed

Now Microsof's gone and done it.  They've put out a patch that now causes
computers to boot over and over, showing brief BSODs.  It all began on
February 10 with patch KB977165.  So far I have 2 customers and a housemate
who have been infected by this patch.  Yet I have two of my ...

I must have a virus on my desk top computer, starts up ok but runs real slow
totaly
unworkable.

Avast has identified the Win32:Adloader-AC[trj] in my pagefile.sys.  When I
delete it, reboot and rescan it's still there.  Any suggestions?
