anywhere a place to register or obtain an activation key.

Recently I installed Windows Vista, like most of us. I didn't had the
upgrade option, so I did a full install.

I need to access the Ap data folder in my user account which has full control
priv's. When clicking the folder It gives me an access denied pop-up with a
button to edit the secutity settings. What's the story?  Every thing I've
tried with the security dialogs end up with an ...

I tried to save a file to the video folder in Documents & got the error "You
have been denied permission to access this folder." But I am the admin & have
no other accounts setup on this computer. Please help?

I am logged on as a member of the Administrative Group, but I am denied
installing updates, creating new accounts, etc.
I'm using Build 5384 from Microsoft (DVD).

I'm used to use cmd and several command right from terminal window. Because
of new rights management in Vista, I cannot just execute 'chdkdsk c:' ... I
have to run cmd.exe as administrator and then I can do what wanted to.
