Just installed RC1.  I'm the only user on the entire system.  Clean install.  
I tried to import the Outlook pst file from the last (beta) release, oh, you
know, as instructed when backing up the pst file.  I get the error that I
apparently don't have access to this file.  

I want to know how to get my disc cleanup to start automatically.  I have
used "schedule a task" to have disc cleanup start when I am away from the
computer.  All that happens is that disc cleanup opens up when secheduled.  
But then it waits for me to hit the ok start button ...

I only have one account on this computer and whenever I start the computer
up, I have to click the single account icon to load everything up completely.
Is there any way to bypass the loading of the user account screen to boot
directly into the desktop or am I doomed to not be ...

I want to upgrade my WinXP Pro to Vista RC1, but I tested in the lab and it
removes the Admin tools.  I have a 2000 AD.  The only way I know to get AD

I made a file on my desktop and now when I try to delete is, I recieve the
followin error message:
CANNOT DELETE (FILENAME): IT IS BEING USED BY ANOTHER PERSON OR PROGRAM.
CLOSE ANY PROGRAMS THAT MIGHT BE USING THE FILE AND TRY AGAIN.

Hey guys, I have a legit key from Microsoft, and activated, and have it
installed. Does it ever expire? I don't think it does.

I have been assigned by my Professor in a University I am attending to use
Vista to create an Active Directory just like Windows 2003. This is only
because I am a tester of and have a beta copy of Vista instead of a copy of
Windows 2003 server.

Before when I did right click on any program in start menu (I mean in XP) I
had a choice there "Run as..." and I could run it as other user. In VISTA
there is only "Run as Administrator", which is not enough for me. I do not

What is happening with me is when i get the dos mode from where i can pick

How to finish downloading RC1 - try 3
I had to switch routers because mine kept dropping out while download it.
Both attemps finished the 4GB download but the download manager (the one from
Akamai) said the MD5's did not match. Now that I restarted my computer after

I am part of the CPP. I paid to have the DVD sent to me. As of this date I
have not received an email with download instructions or a DVD of the release
candidate.Can anyone tell me whats going on?

When I go to User Accounts I don't have the "Change Security Settings"
option. I have all Admin. rights, so is there a setting I need to sctivate in
order to see this option?

When I received the e-mail detailing how to download and install beta2, it
also mentioned I would be able to get RC1 when it became available.  I still
have not received the an RC1 invite.
Is there anyone I can contact to see about getting RC1?

How do you clear and or delete the activity report so that you can start
fresh? I have already reviewed my kids activity and dont need yeaterdays
info.
