I just installed windows vista beta 2 preview and the system is asking for a
Administrator password. I have no documentation on what password I should

I want to go back to the classic login, but everything I tried did not work.

Each time I start up everything is perfect (apart from no virus programme
yet) UAC asks for permission to regedit with the following details:

While dualbooting XP SP2 and Vista RC2 i have an annoying problem.
- "You have been denied permission to access this folder."
- "Photo Gallery can't open this picture because you do not have permission
to access the file location."

We use roaming profiles extensively at my organization. Sooner or
later, someone's going to want to get a Windows Vista machine on the
domain. Currently, the only way this will work is if the user has a
separate Vista profile.

The Event Viewer does not function properly. I get an error, "Event log
service is unavailable. Verify that the service is running."
I check in Services and Application and it is not in there.
don't know where else to look. Any suggestions?
