My son got on as administrator and changed my password and now doesn't know
what it is.  I now of course can't approve changes or downloads, etc.
Is there a back way in somehow?

I have a customer who has forgotten his password in Vista Home Premium.
The only account visible is that account
When i log on in safe mode, the administrator account is still not visible.
How can i get around this?

Running Vista Business w SP1
Have a simple setup, with one user - an User Account Control is turned OFF.
Since I use a Hard Drive Password, I prefer not to use a Windows login
password.

The setup:

Through circumstances out of my control, I have installed windows on my
machine twice. I have a windows folder on both my C and D drive. When I try
do delete my old windows folder I get an access denied error. I have tried to
take control, but to no avail. What do I do?

When I remove the password from our 4 accounts it always comes up later in
the month and asks to change the password because it will expire.  How do I
remove the passwords so they never affect my accounts. What I do now is add
the password and then delete until the expiration ...

i was on my normal account which had admin privellegies and my laptop
is used by many people so i changed the permission of my hard drive C:/
for their account which is the guest account to "do not allow"
some how i think i managed to change the permission for me too. so now

attempting to uninstall a program i keep getting "administrator has set
policies to not allow "yet i cant find where i can go to change settings to
allow uninstallation yes i am the administrator

I have Windows Vista Ultimate.
Every time I turn on my computer, little pop up windows tell me to set a
password as a way to activate Parental Controls.
HOWEVER, I do not need Parental Controls - I am the only user of the

access my photos or music from this account.  How do I share all of my photos
and music with them so they can access from their account?

Help!
I have three user accounts (one is the Admin one). A second is for my
husband. But I seem to have acquired a Guest user account (may have done this

last night i made a new user name and started a new project, when i woke up
this morning my lap top wouldnt start up so it restored itself to a previous
time, but it said it wouldn't harm my files. when i finally got onto my lap
top neither the user name nor the file were there. ...
