I've looked around several places in the control panel, and on this forum,
and still haven't been able to figure out how to disable the fast user
switching feature in Vista.  In XP, this was an option in the User Accounts
control panel, but it's not there in Vista, or anywhere ...

I am a relatively new user to Windows Vista and was wondering how to create
a data source?  I have gone to the Control Panel, but I see nothing that
looks like an ODBC Administration tab.

I have searched and searched for a solution on this and to no avail.
I had just the one admin user account and wanted to add another, I
wanted the extra one to be the admin one and the original I set with
standard user and parental control.

Looking for confirm if the default resolution for Window Vista in Safe Mode

Getting message not enough authority. This is on my laptop and I am the only
one who uses it and it happens even when I am signed on as administrator is
there a way to fix this.

I forgot the password to my computer, and it is the only account on the
computer. I do not have a reset disk and I dont think I ever had a Vista
disk. I cannot use that computer at all. What is the easiest way I can

I have Vista Home Premium. For some reason, two sets of user profiles & icons
are loading when I start up. I have 3 profiles: Admin, Guest and my own. Each
one of them appears twice on the sign-in screen. Where do I go to stop them

I have just installed a 2nd hard drive and after I formatted it my os
wont load? I can see the partion and all the files but once my system
passes the boot stage it will ask for a driver or disc. If i install the
oem vista premium x 64 os disc it just takes me to tjhe repair window

I am trying to set up Parental Controls for my children, and am interested in
the Time Limits options.  I have set these up easily enough, but I would like
to be able to set maximum use times for each day, not just the periods when
it is available for them.
