if I open the folder structure in Explorer an click on a folder to view the contents, the folder structure disappears and the content "fills" the whole window. How can I keep the folder structure permanent at the left side? Thanks,

In Windows 9x and NT operating systems, I used InstallWatch Pro (http://www.epsilonsquared.com/installwatch.htm) to compare before and after system images. I am not sure if this old tool supports Vista. Are there any changes in Vista for storing information beside registry,

My searching capabilities do not work at all. When I open the search program from control panel, it says "Waiting for status update..." all the time, and Modify and Advanced are disabled. I think this happened after I enabled two of the options, I think one of them had something ...

I had a thought lately about the new user profile folders. Currently in Windows XP you have a profile folder. In it resides the 'My Documents' and 'Favorites' folder. As I often try multiple os's on my pc I have a C partition of only 75 gigs.

How does one set the deafult view say to details for all folders? In XP there is an Apply to All button but I cannot find one thus far. Thanks
