I have a problem using readyboost, i have a 512mb and a 1GB memory stick
which are both formatted and when i try to use them as readyboost it says
that they do not meet the specied specs, what can i do to reslove this?

When using windows explorer I am used to sorting a folder with a large number
of files by date modified so that I can quickly access the most recently

I'm seeing sporadic slow file operations, where it can take a move or delete

Installed Windows Vista on my XP machine, and now my very basic, simple and
slightly embarrassing question is where I find my old files.
I am especially interested in re-locating all my digital photos that I kept
on the machin, though backed up (puh) on my WLAN network.

It takes several attempts for me to empty the trash, it's taken over an hour

When I tried to delete file from the windows.old directory it estimate that

Hello Vista file management team,
In Windows 2000 and XP I get an error message when I want to delete a file
that is in use. The message does not tell me by which process or application
the file is used though. This way, the error message is not helpful at all.

What is the point of the new Icons for Folders containing images???
You see a half open Folder with something colored inside - you are not able
to tell what pictures they are though.

The new setup looks great but is a pain to use. Has anyone found other file
management software that will work in Vista?
Fileman and File XP will not work as well as Winfile.
