I moved my music files to an external network drive before intalling Vista. If I right click/properties on the music folder it correctly indicates over 2,000 folders at 54GB. When I view this folder in Explorer I only see 130 Folders with 7.14 GB. If I copy the entire

I am just wondering if the got rid of the button in Vistas Windows Explorer to navigate up in the fold hierachy. Such button exit in XP but i cant find it anymore in Vista. Am i just missing it, is it customizable or how am i suppose to do it now?

Each time I start the Windows Explorer, I have to resize the window, move the folders pane up and increase its width. Why couldn't be this remembered? Thanks, Jan

Anyone having problems installing disckeeper 10 for Vista? It says you have to run as admin. When I right click the setup.exe to run as admin; it starts installing. Goes all the way to starting services;hangs;and says; that the disckeeper

I have Windows XP Pro running as a file and print server. I can access all the files and printers from Vists 32 but can find no way to setup indexing options to index the files on the server. Is this possible or do I have to bring all the files back to the workstaions?

Somewhere down the line it was doubted by a Microsoft MVP that 4 year old motherboards with a legacy Silicon Image 3x12 SATA RAID controller would be supported under Vista. Now that would be rather unexpected in the USA indeed, but The Netherlands

I can search all notebooks open in OneNote application. I can not find any OneNote items using the Vista Search. I was hoping to have one search to find all my data. I have left the computer on overnight to ensure the index is completed
