My administrator name is  RAY and directly under the DESKTOP folder there is
a folder identified RAY that containes numerous folders (10,201 W/1.3GB)
Further down under C:\USERS\PUBLIC is another folder named RAY that has
duplicate copies of all the above referenced files in ...

I have Vista Business (RTM+fixes) 32bit installed on a laptop. I have a
network share mapped to a drive.
In explorer I can navigate my share, but nowhere do I see "Make available
offline" available on the right click menu

I recently installed windows vista (clean install) on a 64 bit system on my c
partition.I saved stuff on my e partition in office 2003 excel.Now I can't
acess excel in e. If I install office 2007 will I be able to acess excel in
partition e?

This is a suggestion:
I think it could be very useful to add an option to the index service in
Windows Vista that allows the system to index the whole folder tree but not
the archives contained in those folders. This way we could jump to any folder

Even if I point to the folder where the files from OE6 i located,
Win Vista claims that there i no files or folders to import.
Transferring files, users and settings from XP gives the same result..

I was told to run cod in search box at bottom of start menu and an icon would
appear. It searches for cod in the Index only. This is in reference to run

Hi, I've got a problem with Vista's file virtualization system.
For years I've had my profiles folder (\Users in Vista) moved to another
partition on a different disk, in order to make reinstallation and backup
easier while improving performance.

my windows 3d switcher stop working i had on the other day now it dont work

After upgrading to Home Premium, the shared folder where all pictures and
music was stored has disappeared.
Anyone have any idea if it was completely erased? I can't find them in the
public folders, or under any other user account.

Is there a way to view the subfolders of the temporary internet files folder
in Vista w/o having to copy it to another location?  As far as I know I have
selected to view all hidden and system files and for some reason the folder
IE uses does not allow for subfolder viewing yet I ...

I have noticed that several short cuts I have added to the top of my "start"
menu have turned into just plain old white letter icons and have lost their
distinctive icons.
Is there a reason for this and can I get the icons back?

Is there any way to add a tag to multiple files at once?  I have over
a thousand pictures that I migrated over without tags, and it would
make the process very simple if I could select entire folders to tag.
Am I missing a keystroke or shortcut?
