....open at my hard drives as opposed to Desktop ?
There was a simple fix to use on XP, but that doesn't work here -
C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE ,/n, /e, /select, c:\
Is there something similar to get the same end result on Vista ?

I have problem copying from my DVD a 4 Gb image file to my HD (17 Gb left) I
getting this stupid pop-up saying "The file ???.iso is too large for the
destination file system"....eeh what? You're joking!! Got enough space in my
HD.

Upgraded my Dell XPS-dual core desktop with Raid-0 HDD to Vista Home-P from
XP on 2/28.  All went well.  Afterward I could access folder with my
downloaded work files, location "C:\program files\DL".  On 3/2 I ran Vista
defrag, which seemed to run 5hrs to defrag 50GB of files.  ...

In previous versions of Windows there was a neat power toy available  called
" Send to any folder" that allowed on to right click on a file and dispatch
a copy or move it to any folder on my computer. It would be helpful to have
that feature with Vista.

Some files I access and edit regularly will not show up in the recent items
section of the start menu.  
If I go into the "Searches" folder inside my personal folder, then go in to
"Recent Documents" some of the files shown appear with a bracketed number

Hey all - I'm hoping someone can assist me in this terribly annoying glitch
I've run into.  For some reason, it seems I have lost the ability to
multi-select any files anywhere in my system.  I can not currently:
- Select All (CTRL-A, or via the Edit menu)

I want to move the Public folder "C:/Users/Public" to another disk
(F:/Users/Public).
This seems a bit more difficult than moving the  regular users folders.

First off, I am the admin on my PC, it is not networked, and I am running
Vista Home Premium.  I have tried right clicking both reg editing apps to
change permission, but all permission options are grayed out.  I also had

I have recently installed Vista, upgrading an Win XP Professional
installation.
I have a big problem. "Select All" in a folder doesn't work; CTRL-A doesn't
work; I cannot select multiple files using CTRL or SHIFT with the mouse.
