How the devil do I get the window size I choose to stick? I've tried the
shift button thingie and it's OK for a while, then explorer decides to do
its own thing an resize the window again.
Also - Is there a way to collapse what comes up under desktop in Explorer.

When I install a NAS unit, while WINDOWS VISTA indexes the files, the system
becomes unstable and it go to crash...
it is possible to turn off the function "finding and organizing" files?

This is confusing me ...
I have an installed program that has 2 files (Excel & Access files) that are
loaded when the program runs. I need to update both of these files
periodically.

In Vista x64 there are two "Program Files" folders.
One for (x86) programs, and the other for everything else.
This makes my whole process of finding files a whole lot more confusing.
I would like specify the regular "Program Files" (not "Program files (x86))

I there any way to look at two files at the same time? I am trying to verify
2 file folders that are supposed to have the same information to see if I can
delete one of them. These are personal files that I have copied from other

When updating a briefcase, the right-click menu only offers a "Details"
option if an existing file is to be updated - it does not offer this option
if the file in the sync location is new.

Recently (within the past 2-3 days), Explorer no longer seems able to move or
copy files at random occasions.  Sometimes, I get one of those permission
dialogs; other times, I get messages stating that the file I'm trying to move
is open in some program when it's clearly not ...
