Is there a possibility to set the Windows Explorer so, that a single click on a node's name in the navigation tree opens the tree? This behaviour was working in Windows XP and was much better than now in Vista where we need to find first the little tiny arrows on the left.

Amidst thinking I may have lost the files in my C Drive while upgrading from XP to Vista. I think I've somehow copied my C Drive twice because before and immediately after the upgrade I had used 44 Gigs of my harddrive. Now it's saying I've got close to over 80 gigs of used space ...

Vista HP experience... 1/ Preview Pane does not show a Preview for shortcuts (e.g. to images) but the Details Pane does... be consistent - show previews in both (the preview pane can be larger)

When I click on the "Computer" icon on my desktop or when I click on the "Computer" icon in windows explorer I get a blank page. Previously I saw the C & D drives and my cd-rom drive. Can someone help me get them back?

All my files and folder now display the dates they were created or last opened and not the file names. I have tried right clicking on the desktop and personalizin but that does not open as well.. I cant even go into user accounts....Please help

Back in the XP days, Windows would generate a thumbs.db file to cache your thumbnails. This was easy enough to stop when I did not want it because there was a folder option to disable it. Now, in Vista, it seems thumbs.db is back with a vengeance.
