I recently got new PC with vista. I loaded My Money and when I go to open it it comes up in MicroMedia. I cannot retrieve. Is Money a product that is not compatible with VISTA?? If it is compatible how do I get it to come up like it did on my old PC??

It seems that the Users\<username>\AppData folder, and its subfolders, cannot be removed from the index search options. I wonder if that is only because it is a hidden folder or whether MS had some other reason to determine that that, a,.., junk, just had to be indexed. Certainly ...

In XP, I could relocate the Quick Launch toolbar. I prefer it along the left side, running the whole length of the page. This option seems to have disappeared in Vista? Is that right? Is there a workaround? Am I just missing something on a paradigm?

I am trying to change a FAT to NTFS file and I started by going to a command prmpt in XP SP 2 and after intering (convert :/fs:ntfs) I got stack in the next step which is to inter volume lebel .The drive is C: I am not sure what to inter after C: ?

Windows Vista's Explorer fast queries a Samba drive my NAS doesn't support this how can I switch back to the XP way (without reverting back to XP) i.e. slow query a samba drive? this is not the NTLMv2 two issue I have set vista to use LM and NTLM.

In XP I had my Search Behaviour set to Advanced so I could search for a word or phrase in a file .. something I may use many times a day For the life of me I can't find a substitute or a work-around in Vista. Is there a way?
