Hi everyone, how can i set my vista premium to right click a file to send it  
to another H/D without having to copy, paste then delete old one or creating
a shortcut? i could do it in xp using norton systemworks, please help its
doing my head in???

when i right click and chooser new folder, windows explorer quits
responding. after I reopen it, there are hundreds of new folders. how do I
stop this?

How do I get Vista to not show a folder as if it was a folder of audio files?
For example, I have a folder with some linux tgz files in it. When I navigate
to the folder (with the view set to details), I get a view that has for

why does vista home basis cause my computer to frequently reboot?

I know this sounds like the absolute lamest question ever- but its driving
me nuts... and I'd rather look stupid and get an answer than continue to be
nutsified.
To the question.  On my Sony Camera - regardless of how I access the device

i'm a software developer and i installed Vista last week.
I have the problem, that when i open a file, no matter what kind of file,
even a textfile, and try to delete it after closing it, i get the message
that the file ist used by a user or a process.

In our app we have a resource manager which used a temporariy directory in
the temp folder to store data while the application is runnning.
To preserve the integrity of our data we need to prevent the deletion of
this folder while the application is running.

after i delete or transfer a file from the desktop, the icon remains there
however is unselectable as the file has been deleted.
icons are then stacked upon eachother and you can't see what your clicking.
i have tried restarting my computer, etc but it has remained for a few days.

I know how to do that on xp (right click on "my documets" properties,...) but
on Vista it dont have the properties options, does anyone know how to change
the default path C:\users\math (my files) to for example D:\my documents,
folder?

After upgraded to Ultimate lost Creative zen mp3 driver. keep getting error
code that it was lost. I try reinstalling the disk but error code keeps

Using the search in Vista, I am getting a list of "blank page" icons with no
file information. This comes up by defoult in the "all" view. If I switch to
specific categorie views like "email", I will have correct results. I have
