In many folders on my computer Explorer doesn't see a number of files. It will see some of them but not all. Could it be that the hard drive index is incomplete? What is weird is that other programs (Irfanview for one) can see these files

I'm trying to delete a folder that contained a wmv file... I deleted the file and the folder's empty but when I try to remove the folder I get the following error: "Could not find this item... This is no longer located in C:\users....

I opened one of the many icons at the bottom right of the screen on my new computer with Windows Vista Home Premium loaded. This opened a window listing all the folders on my system, with a title of "Watched Folder Settings". It says I can start or stop Folder Watching here, ...

In earlier versions of Windows, it was easy to move the "My Documents" folder to another location. Right-clicking on the folder on the desktop, and choosing Properies, there was the coice. And so all programmes wood point to the new location for saving or opening files.

We were exceptionally pleased to see that Windows Vista included functions for shrinking and expanding hard disk volumes. However, aren't these capabilities seriously crippled by the fact there is no feature for moving volumes?
