Whenever i save a file from the internet it saves to the "Documents" folder instead of thre "Downloads" folder even when the file i am saving is not a document. Is there anywhere in Vista Home Premium that i can alter the default save

I am unable to locate my program files in "All Programs". Microsoft and others. Also unable to connect to help and support. Could this be a Vista issue? I am able to access the programs, only if I open a previous file created in that program.

i am trying to find a bitmap image. it shows up in certain programs, leading me to believe it's on the desktop, but i cannot get at the file directly to delete. searches for .bmp extension don't work, nor does searching by the name.

For some reason I have only access to some of my pictures and not all of them. It says I don't have permission to access them, but when I click on the properties it says I do...what am I doing wrong? Joel

How can I copy files, which have been created/modified after a specified date, from a folder (and its sub-folders) on one drive to another drive (say, an external hard disc) maintaining the same hierarchy? Does the briefcase stuff do it? Thanks for any help.

Several messages from Microsoft Mail have shown up as files on my c drive and I have been unable to delete them. When I right click on them, delete is not an option in the new widow. When I highlight the file and click delete there is no response. Where should I look for help?

When I was trying to copy a file of 20MB to D:\ from E:\, Vista poped out a dialog saying that there is not enough disk space. However, I have about 30GB free on my disk! I can't copy any file larger than 20MB. How to solve this?
