my computer will not let me move files into new folders or folders into
folders i keep getting a pop up that says "you do not have permission for
this action retry or cancel"
problem is... i am the administrator and i dont understand why its saying this

I've Vista on a domain with offline files. Why is it that SyncCenter doesn't
seem to do anything that XP did?  Here are all my observations:
1. SyncCenter indicates that the last sync was on 12/22/07 14:28.  It never
progresses?

after downloading some free videos a nasa images for my class and bitlord,
the files don't show up where I install them, but when I go to find them the
folder is not there.  The only way I can see the files is to open VLC player
and then I have to copy and paste them into a music ...

I have photography as hobby so my "recent Items" folder is cluttered by .jpg,
.TIFF files while I'm only interested in my Office 2003 files.
Is there a way to tell the "Recent items" forlder only to acquire or list
*.Doc's, *.PPT, *.XLS?

In XP, I could place nested folders with shortcuts at the start menu.  This
results in folder being on the top of the "All Programs" stack and it worked
fine.
However, if I do that in Vista, it will display along with all the other

Is there a way to tag multiple files at once? For example, can I tag a group
of files with something, and later remove that tag from those files?

Hello, I've got a new Vista Enterprise laptop to replace a Vista Business
tablet PC, and I'm trying to sync one of our network folders offline.
When I tright click on the network folder the option 'Always available
offline' is missing. It's not available for any network folder.

it's far handier than explorer for creating folders.

If I go to www.yahoo.com, then click on Favorites, then ADD to favorites then
click add. I get box with Name: Yahoo, Created in: Favorites.  Then I get
