I am trying to copy files from my usb hard drive: K: to my network external
drive Z:

I would like to tag my documents.  Can I do it?

Quite a few of my Web Pages when dragged onto the desktop default back to a
standard icon (namely %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll) instead of a least
the Internet Explorer icon or the Website's icon. How can I make the icon
reflect the Web Page? If I do try to change it myself ...

as a software developer I find it very hard to use Vista just using the
keyboard. One of the things I'm missing is the option to create new folders
from within the Vista Common Dialogs for loading and saving files. Usually on
Windows this is "<ALT>+<F>, <W>, <F>".

I am trying to d/l a tv programe, but the Vista Media Player, says "Windows
Media Player has a DRM error that prevents iPlayer from downloading and
playing programmes."

and copied the programme into Notepad as directed. I did make one change;

I need a context menu entry in every folder and file, so I added one
into the registry path

I have a folder in my program files folder called MSN. I did not install
this program.  In  this folder there is an .exe file to install MSN
messenger. I don't want to use this program so I tried to delete the folder.
Vista asked me for admin rights (which I have). But it won't ...

My OS is vista home premium. I got an error message after system restore was
finished and re-started. Message as follow :

Suddenly my Favorite Links folder is showing (empty) and I cannot drag
anythink to it. When I try to drag I get a red "no entry" icon

When you opened the run... Dialog in Win XP and started typing 'c:\w'
Windows automatically proposed you all folders and files under 'c:\' starting
with 'w'. The same was possible in explorer's address bar. This option seems
to be gone in Win Vista. Is there a way to get this ...

I had lost my recycle bin several times, and  each time I got it back by
right click, personalize,change icon etc.etc. This time somethig strange
happened.  the bin that I got back will NOT show stuff inside after I deleted
a file.It's a perpetual Empty Bin.

Could anyone help me recover the normal disk icons in 'My Computer'?
Whenever I select 'tiles' or 'medium icons' those icons that represent my
E:, K:, DVD RW and DVD Drive (virtual) all change to some standard generic
icon.
