Running as Adminstrator and only user on this machine with UAC off.
Sometimes I cannot rename a file folder that I created even if I do not have
that folder open to begin with.  I keeo getting the error that I do not have
permisson.  I need to open other un-related folders then go ...

This is a 2nd HDD I have, it's "E" and "F" ("C" and "D" are my main HDD - C
has the Vista OS On it.)
This HDD is already NTFS and had a buncha music and video files on it for
partition 2 (200gb) and partition 1 was the OS (100 gb)

I bought my wife a new Vista Home Premium notebook to replace her old
XP one.
When I used the Easy Transfer prg and the Companion, everything worked
EXCEPT that her profile from the XP machine was created on the Vista

Some programs automatically install themselves so that every user gets a
shortcut to the program on their desktop, and deleting the shortcut by one
user gets rid of it for everyone.
How can such shortcuts be moved from everyone's desktop to just one user's?

Whenever one goes to open or save a file, I always find the dialog box to
small, and like to resize to make it easier to look through the hundreds of
folders i have. Is there any way to alter the default opening size of the
file management dialog boxes?
