Hey guys I deleted some questionable files (porn) off of my computer. When I
do a search in windows the file names are still there. I tried to highlight

Using Vista Home Premium,
1) New to Vista (1 month) and am unable to select more than one file at a
time.  The click>shift>click last one does not work.  The Ctrl>click each
one does not work.  Attempting to select via a drag window does not work.  I

I cannot locate My Computer under the Start menu.  Am I looking in the wrong
place?  Is it called something else in Vista?  Is it common to be missing

I cant figure out how to add multiple track numbers in the # header of my
details pane. Is there a way to add track #'s w/o having to go through them

From hotmail I opened a word doc. I hit the save button but not the save to
button. I assume it opened in a temp file. I closed out the file.   But now I
can not locate.  I am using Windows XP. Can you hellb me recover this file

i had offline files enabled, but after a while the sync-function failed to
work.
I removed the offline sync, but system is still consuming the disk space.

This concerns the saving of Outlook Messages Items on the hardisk by Vista.
It does so and I can open the files. What I don't understand is this: for

Previously in XP, it was difficult to miss properties info such as KHz
sample rate, channel info (stereo/mono) size, type etc., of
audio/media files., but now in Vista ALL of this info has dissapeared
to be replaced by Parental Guidance fields and star ratings entries.

I may not understand how Windows Explorer's Search (W/E Search) is supposed
to work.  I know how the Find in the DOS Window works, so let me start with

Using vista 64 and I have a folder that contains another folder with a small
file inside.  Vista will NOT allow me to delete the folder from the desktop.  
I have tried everything that I know to do:
1. I tried to delete from the command prompt.

I have uninstalled my MP3 software (Zune) as I now have an Ipod.
The music files were left on my PC.
Now I can't import, play, move or delete any of these files or folders which
means I have 32Gb of disk space full of music folder I can't do anything with

I keep getting a message when I log on that says that I have files to burn to
disk, but I have already burned all files to disk. How can I get rid of this
