I want to synch two directories on two external HDs, but when I go to Synch, I can't address (see) the directories. Is there another way to synch directories? I used to use LapLink, but it no longer works with Vista.

recently my computer crashed, and the next time i booted up, every file, folder, icon and shortcut now has a small tick box (check box) in the upper left corner. it doesn't make a lot of difference, however it is annoying and i dont know how to change it.

How do I find the files that the search folder and the search in the start menu keep showing that do not exist? I specifically remember deleting them. I can't delete them either because windows can't find them. How do I stop them from showing up in the search?

I do a lot of modding of programs and games and everytime I create or save things in vista x64 sp1 it never goes into the folder I tell it to instead theirs this "compatibility files" thing in the top on the explorer bar where thing are put. I then have to cut and paste them out
