I am running Vista Home Premium on my box.  I discovered the "Searches"
folder.  It is in the user account folder that contains all the common
folders like "Documents", "Contacts", "Downloads" etc..  It appears to me
the "Searches" folder tracks every move I make or at least ...

For some reason, my Vista Taskbar buttons for Windows Explorer windows are
displaying the *full address* of open folders. Thus, all I see is
"C:\Users\My Name\Docume..." No more than that. Every button looks like this,
so I keep clicking around every window before I get to the ...

The Windows Explorer in Vista had great changed from XP, it mainly uses the

disk D I wanted to change the Documents, Music, and Pictires links on the rhs
of the start pane to point to the new location. i did that OK by using
properties, move location.

Hi, just installed Vista Home edition. I'm set up as administrator, but yet
my Word and Excel files are appearing as Read Only.  When I check the

I am having a problem trying to delete any of my flash drives or memory
card. It keeps giving me an insufficient rights notice when I try to
format a drive and a "You need permission to perform this action" when I
try to delete individual files or folders.

And I send and receive from the same email accounts on both computers.
I want to synchronize so all mail (sent & received) are the same in both.

When trying to delete a file from a folder, it says "The action can't be
completed because the file is open in another program. How do I find out what
program is running that file?
