that turns any IDE drive into a USB 2.0 drive).

I am having a terrible experience with getting the "Windows Search" service
to start/run. I would greatly appreciate advice/suggestions for finding a
"fix" for it.

Every time I do a search I get "ghostly" files.. I deleted a folder but all
of the files that were in that folder still appear.  I try deleting them and
I get a message saying the folder doesn't exist and thus I can't delete
it/them.  Anyone have any ideas?

I tried a Quicken user group, but was directed here.
I've installed Quicken 2008 (Q) on a Vista O/S.  After converting old data

When I'm using Vista's search or advanced search, it finds files that do
not exist any more, and does not find files that I can see in the
directory.  I rebuilt the index and made sure that the directories and

I think there's a bug when attempting to select files in Windows Vista.

really annoyed that sometimes when I click on "computer" then type in a
name of one of my files in the top right hand search box my system
crashes!  The screen goes grey and a warning comes up saying something
like "internet explorer/windows has stopped working"   then something
