I lately noticed that my Vista (32bit) doesn't want me to make .txt files.
When I'll right click on desktop and choose new from the menu I'll get this:

its taken up 12 gigs on my harddrive, how do i safely remove it without

I moved the location of Vista's Media folder to a folder I call Sounds.
When I open the folder in Sound to set a wav file to an event it displays only 54 files
while explorer is showing 59 ( the actual number).

Is this a Vista glitch and if so how can I fix it?   While copying a data
dvd or even a data cd I get this error code.  I have used the same brand of

I am using a brand new Sony Microvault 1GB memory stick USB with windows
vista. I am unable to save any file on it either using save, Save as or just

one of our Vista Home Premium SP1  4GB, lots of disc, repeatedly takes 12
minutes to load System Restore.
Once loaded all functions behave allright.
Max. size is limited to 15GB using cmd > vssadmin Resize ShadowStorage
