Everytime I load up Solitaire, I hear the deck shuffle but all I see is a

Iam trying to play flight simulator 2004, but my usb joystick wont work.
(Joystick Model: Saitek Cyborg Graphite). I noticed that in the device
manager the gameport isnt working, What do I need to do to get this working?

I tried to play Everquest II on Windows Vista on x64 with ATi Drivers and the
lag was just horrible, I don't have any lag at all in XP.
Is it that Direct X 10 was not finished? (was maybe 2 months ago I tried
