I can't get Quake 4 to work with any Vista build.  When it errors out,

Software and the Quake 4 site.  But no stinking patch.  Anyone have any
ideas?

I am beta testing Visa Rc2 5744 32Bit version and I have been running
various games without problems (and actually I have been quite impressed
with the speed and stability so far).
Reading other posts here about the 64bit version of vista I am in two minds

Horizons and Vista28 Oct 2006 10:53 GMT2
I have tried running Horizons: Empire of Istaria under Vista. Run great under
5384, 5600, and 5728. It crashes at startup under 5744 with a fault in
msvcrt.dll.
Anyone got any suggestions on how to get the game running under 5744?
City of Heroes and Vista RC228 Oct 2006 02:19 GMT3
I'm leaning toward this problem being related to my mouse but was wondering
if anyone else encountered this.  I have Vista RC2 on the D: partition of my
RAID array and Windows XP Pro SP2 on the C: partition.  Both partitions
formatted as NTFS.

Half-Life 2 and Windows Vista RC125 Oct 2006 20:21 GMT7
I couple of weeks ago I decided to invest in a new graphics card (AGP GeForce
7800 GS 256MB).  The day before I got my new graphics card my copy of Windows
Vista RC1 (build 5600) was delivered through the post.  I upgraded XP to RC1
and was impressed from the start.
sim city 4... just stops...24 Oct 2006 19:00 GMT2
anyone else having this problem? It worked fine, I did the updates from EA,
and now the game plays for like 10  mins, and the just shuts off. It doesn't
hang, freeze, lag... or anything, it just quits the game, and returns you to
your desktop. Very annoying. I'm thinking of ...

Not much leftover memory for all graphics on ES4 - even with all of the
visuals turned off. Is there any way that Vista can possibly ease up, or is
purchasing more memory the only answer?
