Runs great-just make sure you go to properties>Compatibility tab>run as

   Just downloaded the Eragon demo; and after scanning it for buggies, I
ran the install.

Umm,

Will all the upper editions of Vista support games ??
As in I do not need Ultimate nor do I need all that premium offers but do
like what Business offers in the way of better diagnostics (failures and
such)..Will it ihave the same capabilities to run games ??

Hi, I am having issues with Teamspeak and BF2... would seem that with only
Teamspeak running all is ok (using press to talk) but when in the game it
appears that the keypresses arent being passed to TS??
any ideas as I have tried numerous keys to ensure no windoes clash

this game still doesnt want to work on my system,
i have downloaded and installed this codec, and still keep getting the same
error.
ive had this problem since the beta 2 release of vista.

When entering choppers or aircraft i experience a drop in the frame rate,
from over 70 to 8 fps for about 30 secs, expecially when changing view mode,
from cockpit to external view. I have last ATI drivers, and vista ultimate
64bit, anyone else has the same problem ora, as usual, ...

I am using Vista RTM and I am trying to run games such as Quake 4,
Battlefield 2142, and Call of Duty 2, all of which are by different
companies, and none of the will run. I get an error that tells me to insert

Using Vista RTM, I cannot open any of my games (chess titans, solitaire,
minesweeper, etc.) from the Games Explorer on the start menu ('Games' on the
righthand side of the start menu).  When I select a game to play, I get an
error message box saying:

On the title screen everything scrambles and doesnt stop. Iv updated the
video card drivers and even reinstalled it and it didnt help. It worked fine
with RC1 32-bit but now the menus are all messed up on RC2 32-bit. Is there
anything I can do to fix it?

Dear Microsoft,
I have a suggestion for the vista Chess game. If it sounds good, you can
make necessary steps in updates.
At the end of the game, you are giving the statistics of the total game

None of the games included in Vista will work in media center, solitair, free
cell...etc..
They also will not work from the start menu using the Games link on the
right side of the Start Menu.

   Anyone know of PC games that will work in Vista, with a controller also?
Like an xbox controller?
Have a hard time with keyboards, so would like to get a game that uses
controllers too.

hi all, well i installed vista business, deleted the partitions so it showed
one, clicked on format, took like 10 secs and it was done, surprised but ok.
i installed the nvidia driver for geforce x86 as i am running a 32-bit
version of the O/S,

I have been working on updating my games to support the Vista Games Explorer
and have run into an odd problem.  When I install my game (with both
PlayTasks and SupportTasks) Vista only picks up the PlayTasks.  The
SupportTasks are completely ignored.
