I’m looking for some information on installation issues I am having with games in the final release of vista home premium. I have 6 different games which refuse to install correctly of a clean install of vista. They were all fine with XP. Games are;

when I start FSX, the message 'colorscheme changed to vista-basic' appears, cause the program ist not compatible with certain visual elements in vista. Is FSX not compatible to Vista? my system:

With roughly half od my games (including new ones), the game will resize, then only display the upper left corner of the screen. I've tried fumbling with drivers and restore points and patches and FSAA and everything else I could imagine. Since it happens on around 10 of my games

My Vista Game Explorer has stopped working. When I d-click on a game in there now, I get the following error: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel"

Building a new computer. Bought Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Does that OS have a compatibility mode for 32-bit software? Or do I need to run 64-bit versions of everything? Will using the 64-bit version of Vista

I have downloaded Ravenhearst from Yahoo and can play it fine when it is first downloaded. Once I close out the game and try to play again, I get : Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst has stopped working. So, in order to play I have to delete it and re-download... anyone know how

I've been trying to load some games - Quake II, Half-Life, Hexen, Heretic... all those that work fine in 98SE and XP. So far, the only game my Vista Home Premium will play is a joke on me for thinking I was upgrading! Out of 19 different programs that ran in XP, only one installed ...
