I have just bought CoD2 and have installed my DirectX as the newest version

clicked on that and its like I have no CD in there at all.  Its like its not

I think AnyDVD caused the problem.  AnyDVD is uninstalled now but the problem
won't go away.  Everything is up-to-date including the BIOS.  I've tried
