Hi, I have a fairly new 1.6 ghz, dual core, vista. Some of my video games install. Some old and new ones will not install. I mean, I only get the allow, cancel window. It wont give me the option to install, I have gone into the settings, into dos. It wont do

Hey, i have bought a few burnt games from the markets, and none of them work with vista. the games work fine on my friends computer (windows xp) but vista wont seem to accept the burnt games. Is there any way to fix this? any program i should download??

I have MS Windows Vista Home Premium x64 Service Pack 1. I want to buy in the next days Need For Speed Undercover. I want to know if there are some known issues about running this game on my operating system or if it can harm my os integrity.

i'm trying to install wow on my new xps 420, after getting to 100% it says install fail and it lists a mess load of files with could not be renamed (conflict manager::resolve conflicts) or could not be deleted(conflict manager uncreate objects) after them any help?

Using Vista RTM, I cannot open any of my games (chess titans, solitaire, minesweeper, etc.) from the Games Explorer on the start menu ('Games' on the righthand side of the start menu). When I select a game to play, I get an error message box saying:

I just bought a new computer with windows vista and I'm unable to play any of my sim games. I tried switching to windows xp compatibility mode but that didn't help! I bought this computer so I could play my sim games and I was told by Best Buy that they would work fine. Well ...
