I installed Windows Vista Beta2 yesterday on my PC. Generally it works fine.

I just did an upgrade to Vista Beta 2 from XP SP2 and I can't find the
Windows Mobile Center in control panel.  I plugged in my pocket pc smartphone
but it won't even show up in the computer window.

I have a PromiseUltra IDE Card from about 3 years ago, and Vista does not
provide default drivers for Promise. I tried the Standard IDE Card drivers,
but those did not work.

I can't install vista because the installation cannot find any drivers for my
raid controller.  The weird thing is that the Upgrade Advisor says driveres
for it exists but I need to install them manually.  I guess what it means is
once you install vista you install the driveres ...

I need to get it restarted... my video driver crashed so Vista turned off
Flip 3D. However, it does work (I have a GeForce 5900 w/256meg) and I had it

I am running Vista Home Premium edition. Build 5384 with an Admin account. If
I try to Install an INF file I am get a "cannot copy file to destination
directory" - that is the the system32/drivers directory.
Is that expected? If so how can I install a driver - I get a similar -

I have just installed the new version of windows vista beta 2.  I have the
drivers for the wireless but eery time I try to install it, it just times
out.  Pro/Wireless 2100 LAN miniPCI Adapter Driver.  If someone could help me
out that way I can use my wireless.
