The program Streets & Trips 2006 loads fine, but I can't get the system to

I have an ATAPI Travan 40 tape drive that worked great in XP.  I've loaded
Vista RC1 now and the tape drive doesn't show up in Device Manager.  Does
anyone out there use a tape drive successfully with RC1?  If so did you do
anything special to get it to work?

Hello, for some reason, my CD/DVD drive will not recognize empty discs, so
giving me issues burning Vista with Alchohol 120%. It works fine, because it
reads my other CD/DVD's. I am probably gonna get some new CD-RW's to retry,

installation of RC1 my sound stopped working.  Currently it appears the
Microsoft drivers are loaded.  It recognizes the device as High Definition
