Just wondering... Does anyone have a Good/Bad hardware list compiled for
Vista RC1 (or 5728)?

I'm *REALLY* hoping that manufacturers get busy with creating 64bit drivers
for their hardware. It's a real pain not being able to use the old XP
drivers under Vista.

The Vista desktop is just too large for my LCD TV, I can only just see the
top corner of the Start button and its the same all round the four sides of
the screen.  I am running the latest Vista build with patches up to 1 Aug 06.

I have instaled vista B2 on a HP cpmpaq NX 7010 notebook. When i start the
system there is the sound of starting windows, but no display.
I see windows starting in a diverand mode and then it ends.
When i connect a external monitor the is display, i can say that i have 2

Running Vista RC2 build 5744 on my Asus A8VM-CSM motherboard.
The system will enter a S3 sleep state, but upon awakening (to any wake
event, keyboard, mouse, wireless keyboard, IR ehome receiver) the PS2
keyboard and mouse does not work. My wireless keyboard continues to work OK.

I have seen that other people have been able to get some of their epson
printers to work, all I really need mine for right now is text.  It is
connected via usb cable.  When I run the "addd printer" program provided in
Vista it asks for the port that the printer is plugged into.  ...

if you got and Creative soundcard (No onboard souncard on motherbord)
then the only thnig you have to do is to go on creatives homepage

and go to support go to downloads and then you can chose your sound device

one minute they are there now there are gone ...poof magic... Could it be
because I downloaded and installed Ca's anti-virus or what. All resourses
have been exalted. I have everywhere on Microsofts support and Vista help.

I don't like how I can't go into the sound mixer and select whether or not I
wanna record from my MICROPHONE, LINE IN, OR LINE OUT, or WAV. I like being
able to record the way I did with sound recorder in Windows XP

Here's a wierd one - I got the XP drivers for my Canon N650U to install OK,
and if you go to the Scanners & Cameras applet in the Control Panel and use
the diagnose function it gets a clean bill of health and is reported as
working correctly.

Hi seen many posts here where apparently this works with win xp drivers. I
have tried everything. Tried all the drivers on the CD - win98, xp, nt, etc
etc.  When you update the driver and point it to the driver cd and the
appropriate directory, it rejects saying something about ...

If it wasn't for this darn wireless Linksys card that stops working so much,
I might just keep Vista.  Does anyone have any ideas before I resort back to
XP Pro ?  So far I have tried :

Hi,
     My laptop has an ATI Radeon x300 with 64mb of memory. Aero Glass works
fine so far with RC1. Does anyone know if I will not be able to use Aero when
the final version comes out, since they say 128 mb is what I need?
