Hi. I got vista today and installed it as a clean install. Once it was installed and running I received an error message stating "Windows detected a hard disk problem" and it then asks to start the backup process or ask me again later.

Am using release version of Vista Ultimate. It doesn't recognize my 1Gb USB memory stick or my Belkin 7 port USB hub. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance for your help - Paul.

I have had my swap file set-up on a Excelstor ES3230 hard drive and my performance of vista has at times been slower than I would have expected. I have now changed the swap file to my other hard drive, a ST360015a, and seen an improvement in performance.
