I just updated to Vista Beta 2 from XP on my toshiba satellite m45, which
comes with these six buttons on the side that plays, pauses, rewinds, and
fastforwards with wmp... at least on the xp version. They've stopped working,
and I'm wondering if anybody knows how to fix this.

Vista won't let me install the ini file driver for my motherboard.
Is this normal?
Do i maybe need new inifile for vista ?

I am looking for a little help on a printer driver. I have a Canon Photo
Printer (CP710). The driver is only available for 32bit operating systems.
Any tips on being able to use a 32bit printer driver on Vista 64?

I have a windows vista ultimate x64, and when I install the intellitype
(6.1) and the focus isn't on the WMP (for example, when I'm chatting on
windows messenger), all of the media buttons (play/pause etc.) do a "double
click" (pausing and resuming instantly, or skipping ahead 2 ...

I recieved my original Vista Ultimate 64bit yesterday, and I have been
trying to install it ever since.. It says I need a driver, for my cd/dvd. But
I dont have any of that kind.

I have an Acer 5600 and not all of the drivers work, especiall the OrbiCam
which doesn't seem to like vista and occasionly works (Using XP Drivers)
Does anyone know when Acer is going to release Vista Drivers ?

In XP, I used these functions to get a usb device volume to compare, but it
cannot work in Vista
SetupDiGetClassDev ==> get GUID_DEVINTERFACE_VOLUME device
SetupDiEnumDeviceInterface ==> get all volume device

I just loaded Vista on my laptop and I am trying to find the settings to
create docked and undocked profiles. I've looked under the hardware tab where
it used to be in XP/2000 but there is only an empty space. How do you set
profiles under Vista then?

I cant hear music etc. The sound card is installed, volume is at max.

Shut off machine 2 days ago, everything working fine.  Turned it on today, no
video on screen.  Not sure if it's Vista related.  Running Vista Ultimate RTM

Granted Vista has more hardware support than XP at launch......  The
hardware being supported are mostly legacy stuff and the newer stuffs are
not supported as well.  I figure that I may start a list of problems:
