NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS:  Red halo23 Feb 2007 03:58 GMT3
Using the subject card with a Dell 2007WFP montior and everything looks great
except for black letters.  Particularly if the letters are bold there is a
red halo at the edges of the letters.
I've tried various contrast and color adjustments with no improvement.

Harddrive high pitch sound.  Vista issues not the hardware.22 Feb 2007 23:14 GMT2
I find it annoying that the harddrive make a lot of noise when Window Vista
was installed.  I reinstalled XP MCE 2005 just to see if the harddrive is the
problem. After XP was installed the harddrive no longer make those annoying
high pitch sound.

Tried to install BOTH the 32 and 64 bit versions of the new Nvidia drivers... neither would work.

Anybody else with ...

Looking for BT878 TV card driver for Vista X6422 Feb 2007 17:32 GMT2
Has anyone come across a 64 bit driver for a tv card with BT 878 chuip? I
have a Hauppauge PCI FM which uses this chip (like many other (older) TV
cards) and it seems Hauppauge is not going to provide drivers in the future.
But I guess any other BT878 driver should also work. I ...

I just purchased a brand new laptop and I am clueless as to how a tv tuner

evening between classes at school? Next is there a ...
Hauppauge driver installation vista at startup22 Feb 2007 14:44 GMT4
Hi - whenever I boot up my system (Vista Ultimate) it re-installs all
Hauppauge drivers for the WinTV-HVR-1300 card (Installing device drivers ->
your devices are ready to use). Somehow the driver information seems to get
lost again and again.
Gameports22 Feb 2007 14:40 GMT6
I see in many posts that the Gameport/MIDI port is not supported by Vista.
Has anyone found away around it yet?  The reason I ask is because even
though Microsoft hasn't made it available, someone probably will eventually.
Thanks
