I have a Gateway GM5076E Desktop with the FPD2185W R0 21" Lcd Monitor. I
recently upgraded to Windows Vista and I cannot
set a decent screen resolution because there are no Vista drivers for this
Monitor. My monitor is displayed as a Generic PnP Monitor. I contacted

1)  Saw your input in this forum that the Nvidia driver that comes with the
original Vista install is the only one you have not had the "stopped
responding" errors with.  I want to get back to the original driver as I am
having ongoing problems since updating several weeks ago.  ...

Okay...this is wild...So I moved my pc from one side of my desk to another.  
It required me to unplug everything and plug everything back in once the
tower was moved.  This means I unplugged my USB port mouse in the process...
So when I plug everything back in, I didn't ...

You know I'd heard that a large number of drivers had been removed between
the beta and live versions of vista and I must note that in my experience the
add hardware scanner is quicker which is a plus as well as the install being
smaller but lets face it i have a 10 year old ...

Vista Ultimate - DVDR/W are reported as having corrupt device drivers - they
have been working. Any ideas?

. Is there any possibility to use WinXp drivers with Vista or to use other

    I'm at my wit's end trying to install Intellipoint 6.1 under
Vista Home Premium. Whenever it's run, I get the message "Setup can't
continue either because there's not enough free space on the disk or
an unexpected problem has occurred." I have 198 gigs free on the disk.

Ok, im no expert but i need help because my new laptop with vista on it is
having real problems. I think its  a driver problem. Ok heres what happenes,
sometimes it blue screen then says need to shut down for safety. then

Okay, I have three devices I am trying to sync with Outlook 2007 and Vista

I installed an additional 1gig of RAM into my ASUS notebook, and while either
stick will operate just fine by themselves, only one is recognized if they
are both installed. Strangely, the newly installed BIOS recognizes the new
RAM, but Vista doesn't. Any suggestions?

Hi there. I have just got ahold of Vista and a whole new comp. Anyways,
everything works fine aside for one minor problem. On my mainboard I only
have 1 IDE channel, and unfortunately I need 2 channels, so I got ahold of a
pci controller. However Vista does not seem to recognize ...

What is the requirement for a vendor to state a product is Vista Ready?  ATI
labels its TV Wonder line Vista Ready and ATI tested, But has no drivers, not
even Betas for this product on the Vista RTM.  
Does VISTA READY mean... "Eventually we will have a driver for Vista" or

PLEASE HELP! I just installed vista home premium and vista detects the sound
card and the driver is up to date but no matter what I do I cannot get any
sound
