Ati Radeon 9550 agp 8x and replace it with Visiontek x1300 512m graphic card
instead. Is the rating for this card 4.5?

i have a "Sound Blaster Live! Digital Entertainment 5.1 (SE)"
it worked fine on XP Home, but i recently changed the operating system to
Vista Home Premium (32-bit) and i havn't yet been able to find a driver for

Hi. I have a previous instalation of windows vista business. And my Sound
Blaster Live worked ok without the game port.
I had to format my disk. So I installed vista again, but now the windows
vista cannot install my Sound Blaster Live.

I just installed an extra 2GB of RAM in my PC bringing the total to 4GB.  My
BIOS is picking up the 4GB of RAM but vista says that I only have 3GB
installed.  Any suggestions.  I thought Vista supported up to 4GB

So has anyone been able to successfully sync a WM 5.0 device with Vista?

I have a MSI 645 Ultra (MS-6547) motherboard with 1 GB of DDR3200 RAM. This
motherboard has three memory slots and can handle up to 3GB RAM. I bought
another 2 x 1GB and filled the other two slots.

Is there a way, in Windows Vista, to disable the autoplay feature so that
windows explorer does not open up displaying the contents of the external
hard drive after each boot up.

I have a brand new Toshiba Satellite A100/800 that came pre-loaded
with Vista Home Premium. (I'm probably going to blow that away and put

When I looked at Vista features last fall I seem to remember that it was
going to feature fast startup times by using hard drives with embedded Flash
memory or by using the memory in external USB flash memory devices.

I have a removable SATA drive bay that I use for drives with music and movies

Are there other folks haveing the problem that (even with trying a couple of
different drivers - i.e. from Realtech and MS-) the AC97 Onboard Soundsystem
only allows volume control at the application level. Any form of conrtolling
the volume settings at o.system level does not ...
