I just ordered an XPS 410 with Vista 32-bit and a single SATA hard drive from Dell. I wanted two physical hard drives (not RAID) but was told that they could not install a second drive. The lady told me I could add it myself. (I can't believe Dell has fallen this far!).

| Difference between actual/reported RAM | 01 Mar 2007 04:48 GMT | 6 |
When I had 2gb of RAM Windows reported 1.86gb. I just doubled it to 4gb and it shows in the BIOS as 4gb but in Windows only 2.85gb. I realise that it's probably being eaten alive by my video and TV-FM cards plus other parerphernalia but isn't that loss a bit much?
