it won't play cd's or dvds. i checked the device manager and it said "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" what do i have to do? i have a hp pavilion entertainment pc laptop if that helps

Everytime when the pc boot up, it will prompts for driver update. But it says "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error wile attempting to install it -- Access is denied." Anyone have any clue? Thanks.
