Having big problems with my DVD burner. It will NOT burn a DVD!
All the burning software I have are not able to make a DVD, only CD writing
works.
When trying to write to DVD, or the writing starts and after a few seconds

I've been hanging out here for a few weeks, giving advice about a bug that
I couldn't actually reproduce until today.  I'm happy to report that I've
been
giving the correct advice all along  :o)

it won't play cd's or dvds. i checked the device manager and it said
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver
may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" what do i have to do?
i have a hp pavilion entertainment pc laptop if that helps

After installing an upgrade to 5600 I tried to install
- a compact flash
- 2 different usb sticks
- a cf card, sd card, memory stick card reader on USB

Everytime when the pc boot up, it will prompts for driver update. But it
says "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error
wile attempting to install it -- Access is denied."
Anyone have any clue? Thanks.
