My new VISTA machine has many more USB-2 ports than my previous computer. I seem to have quite a collection of USB cables. Is there any physical way to tell USB-1 from USB-2 cables? Dang things all look the same to me.

I am using Ultimate, for the last few days, I have this booting problem. That the ntkrnlpa.exe is missing or corrupted while I am booting up the PC. And with this state: 0xc0000221. And also I've notice that this will only occur when the PC is shutted down for a long period

I have a Lexmark X1200 printer. I just recently (This morning) got a new computer with Vista on it. The problem is, when I plugged the USB cable into the Vista machine, it saw that there was new hardware, asked me to put the disk that I got with the printer into the drive

I am using a USB cable to put my pictures on the computer. i dragged them all into the pictures folder and then deleted them from the USB connection screen. this also deleted them from my camera.. now i cann't find them anywhere and it seems they are saved to the folder i

I have downloaded some mpegs that are protected by a licence. It says that once this is downloaded I can play them on this computer as many times as i wasnt, however each time I switch off the laptop and reboot and try to open the file it asks me to enter password etc all over ...

i have this old 3 com card and i try to get it to work do anybody know how. this is because my lan onboard from asus (p4p800se) (lan marvel yukon) will not work under vista this while there is a vista driver availeble by asus.

I have seen many people waste money on 4 GB RAM etc... for Windows Vista. Recently I assembled a new PC, let me tell you 1.5 GB of RAM is enough to run Windows Vista / Games / Applications smoothly.

I'm planning to buy a new laptop with Santa Rosa chipset & have 4Gb of memory. I'm planning on installing Vista Ultimate 32 bit on it. Will I be getting any real performance gain with 4Gb memory? Will the OS be able to make use of the entire memory? Any suggestion are welcome.
