I am using Vista Ultimate and am having a problem with compact flash
card readers. When I attempt to copy files from any compact flash card
I get the error "The media in the drive may have changed". It will
copy about half the files from the card but the rest fail with the

I got a Toshiba Tecra S1.
All of a sudden my peripheral hardware on USB-ports is no longer recognized
(webcam, external Harddrive, memory stick). I can see that the memory stick
gets power through USB.

Hi all! First of all I really hope I can get some help here because all

Since moving a variety of Intel SpeedStep enabled PCs from XP to Vista, it
~appears~ that SpeedStep is not working in that System Properties ALLWAYS
shows the rated and current speed as the same (unlike under XP where it would
